The initial situation: a portfolio with potential, but hardly any images
Möbel Ehrmann offers a wide range of high-quality furniture – from garden chairs to living room collections. However, the online product portfolio did not reflect this quality. There were often only one or two sober silo images per product against a white background – the result of a complex CGI process that consumed time and budget.
What was missing: inspiring lifestyle images that show products in a real living context. Detailed images that bring materials and workmanship to life. Dimension drawings that give the customer orientation. And all of this for every single product in the entire range – scalable and consistent with the brand.
The classic approach – photo studio or external CGI agency – was neither economically nor logistically feasible for this scaling. A new solution was needed.
The solution: Complete workflow switch from CGI to AI images
Together with Mazing, Möbel Ehrmann’s entire image production workflow was redesigned. The switch from CGI to AI product images not only meant cost savings—it enabled a completely new, scalable image world that was simply not feasible before.
Instead of months of rendering cycles, the AI images are produced in a fraction of the time. Based on just a few physical reference photos or existing raw data, the AI generates brand-consistent visuals – in all the required variants.
