Was ist Virtual Reality?
\r

Virtual reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. In contrast to traditional user interfaces, VR transports the user into a different reality. Instead of just seeing images in front of them, the user is immersed and can interact with 3D worlds. Anstatt nur Bilder vor sich zu sehen, taucht der Nutzer ein und kann mit 3D-Welten interagieren.
\r

Virtual reality can be categorised into three different forms – non-immersive, semi-immersive and full-immersive. In this blog, we would like to take a closer look at non-immersive VR and how small and medium-sized enterprises can benefit from it.
\r

These are experiences that typically use desktop / laptop or smartphone screens to present the virtual world to a user. The user still realises that he is in front of the screen. The platform does not completely obscure the user’s field of vision. A classic application of non-immersive VR is virtual tours, also known as 360-degree tours or 3D tours, which Mazing offers.
\r

Considering that this technology, as cleanroom, has already been around for several years, we don’t need to make any predictions about the sectors in which it can be used. Instead, we can rely on data and practical examples that we have already implemented.
